Client Raiffeisen Switzerland
Empowering every investor through a simpler, more accessible experience.

Trading and investing can seem complex for many. Raiffeisen set out to change that.
For years, Raiffeisen has been a trusted name in Swiss banking — but while competitors expanded into mobile investing, Raiffeisen’s offering remained fragmented.
The goal was clear: bring trading and investment management together in one seamless, accessible experience inside the Raiffeisen mobile app.
Raiffeisen's request
Raiffeisen set out to modernize its investment experience by integrating new in-app trading features and creating a central investment hub with educational and personalized insights. The goal was to make the platform more accessible, inclusive, and transparent for all users.
As Senior UX Designer, I translated complex financial actions into clear, step-by-step flows and established an accessibility-first design system to ensure consistency, compliance, and ease of use across the product.
The solution
The redesigned experience introduced seven new trading options — including ETFs, warrants, and structured products — covering the entire journey from discovery to purchase.
In parallel, I shaped a TO-BE vision for a centralized market hub, connecting Raiffeisen’s financial expertise with intuitive design to help users make informed investment decisions.
Each flow was optimized for clarity, accessibility, and reassurance, ensuring users could trade confidently regardless of their level of experience.
The team
As the Senior UX/UI Designer, I led the investment stream within a wider team of 35 UX designers, guiding the design from concept to implementation. In my stream, I collaborated with six developers (three front-end and three back-end) and three functional analysts to deliver an integrated and compliant trading and investment experience.
I oversaw the end-to-end design process and worked closely with researchers, analysts, developers, and a Scrum master to ensure alignment across research, strategy, and delivery. Using tools such as Figma, FigJam, Stark Accessibility, and Lottie, I maintained accessibility and visual consistency while guiding the team toward a user-centered, regulatory-compliant solution.

Investors need clarity
Users often struggled to understand financial jargon and complex flows. Clear language and step-by-step guidance helped reduce hesitation and build trust in every action.
Complex data needs context
Users found market information and charts hard to interpret. Contextual insights and simplified visual hierarchies made data more meaningful and actionable.
Discoverability drives adoption
Many clients were unaware of Raiffeisen’s full trading offering. Clear navigation and in-flow recommendations helped surface new opportunities naturally.
Accessibility is essential
Accessibility was a core principle, not an afterthought. The accessibility-first system ensures everyone can navigate and invest confidently.
